We at Easygrow are proud to announce that we are now Eco-lighthouse certified!
This is an important milestone for us and clear proof that we take environment, sustainability, and social responsibility seriously.

What does it mean to be Eco-lighthouse certified?

Eco-lighthouse is a well-recognized Norwegian environmental certification that sets strict requirements for how a company works with sustainability in practice. The certification means that we must continuously document and improve within areas such as working environment, waste management, energy use, procurement, and transport. The company is regularly followed up and re-certified to ensure that we always meet the requirements and continue to develop.

What does this mean for Easygrow?

For us, this is not just about meeting requirements but about making active choices that contribute to a more sustainable everyday life, both for us as a company and for all families who choose Easygrow. We will reduce waste and find good solutions for reuse and recycling, work towards more environmentally friendly material choices in our products, ensure a safe and positive working environment for our employees, and make transport and logistics as sustainable as possible.

Eco-lighthouse and the UN Sustainable Development Goals

Eco-lighthouse certification is closely linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which are the world’s joint plan for creating sustainable development for people, the environment, and society. The certification gives companies the tools to contribute to achieving several of these global goals.

Recognized by the EU

EU recognition means that the Eco-lighthouse certificate is a valid documentation of third-party certified environmental management throughout the EU and EEA.

Miljøfyrtårn was the first national certification scheme in Europe to be recognized by the European Commission, in accordance with Article 45 of Regulation (EC) No 1221/2009. The recognition proves that the scheme holds the same standard and quality as international certification systems (EMAS and ISO 14001).
