Washing instructions

Washing instructions and maintenance tips for Easygrow foot muffs. It's not necessary to wash the bag when it's new and before use. However, if you still wish to do so, simply follow the normal procedure described below.

Winter- and all-year-round foot muffs

Easygrow NORD

Remove the down duvet, detach the foot end (both extension and short part), and detach the faux fur trim. Turn the foot muff inside out and close all zippers and velcro before washing. (You can wash the fur trim separately at 30 degrees in the machine). Wash the foot muff on a 40-degree wool cycle. The down duvet and foot ends can be washed using a down-specific cycle if your machine has it. Use half the recommended dose of a mild detergent without bleach. Do not use fabric softener. The down duvet and foot ends MUST be tumble-dried with 4-5 tennis balls at around 50 degrees Celsius. Do not stop the drying before the down products are completely dry. Hang the rest of the foot muff to dry, do not use a tumble dryer.

Easygrow GRANDMA and GRANDMA SAGA

Turn the foot muff inside out and close all zippers and velcro before washing. Remove the fur trim if the foot muff has one. (If applicable, you can wash the fur trim separately at 30 degrees in the machine). Use half the recommended dose of a mild detergent without bleach and wash on a 40-degree wool cycle. Do not use fabric softener. The foot muff MUST be tumble-dried with 4-5 tennis balls on a low/medium heat setting. Override the dryer to ensure the foot muff is completely dry before ending the drying. This process may take several hours. Shake the foot muff regularly during drying. It is important to dry the foot muff immediately after washing. Store it in a dry place.

Easygrow MYSIG

Turn the foot muff inside out and close all zippers and velcro before washing. Use half the recommended dose of a mild detergent without bleach. Do not use fabric softener. The foot muff can be tumble-dried or hung up to dry.

Easygrow FLEX

Wash the foot muff at 40 degrees with a mild detergent (e.g., Milo). DO NOT USE FABRIC SOFTENER! The foot muff can be tumble-dried or hung up to dry.

General:

If the down has clumped after washing, it's likely that it hasn't spent enough time in the dryer. In that case, you need to repeat the washing process to loosen the down again and run new and longer drying cycles in the dryer.

Store the winter foot muff in a dry place when not in use. Do not compress the muff; you can use the provided storage bag that comes with it. Down-filled bags should not be stored in completely airtight conditions.

Spring foot muffs

Easygrow SPIRE, LYNG, LITE, LITE+, LYNG Car Seat and LITE Car Seat

Wash the foot muff at 40 degrees on a delicate cycle with a mild detergent (e.g., Milo). Fabric softener can be used. The foot muff must be hung up to dry. DO NOT tumble dry the product!
