When everyday families get to test the Fnugg footmuff

There’s something truly special about hearing the experiences of real families with young children using our products in their daily lives. We can talk about warmth, comfort, and functionality – but it’s only when parents try them out themselves that we really get to see how the products work in practice.

This time, two families from Testfamilien.dk had the chance to test our Fnugg footmuff – and here you’ll hear their honest experiences.

Sahra tested together with her 1-year-old son, Cornelius

Sahra says:

This is truly a wonderful footmuff for naps in the stroller or walks in the beautiful autumn weather – and not least for the winter ahead.

We’ve used the lovely Fnugg footmuff on all our walks this mild autumn. Cornelius stays so warm and cozy in it. Inside is the softest down duvet, which can be taken out, making it suitable for other seasons as well. The back is lined with wool, which makes the footmuff warm and comfortable. It’s also easy to thread the harness through the Fnugg footmuff, whether in a stroller or pushchair. So far, we’ve only used it in the pushchair on our walks.

It’s been quick and easy to get Cornelius settled in the footmuff when the whole family wants to head outside for some fresh air. That way, we don’t need to fuss with lots of outerwear – something that makes life much easier when several people need to get out the door at the same time. The Fnugg footmuff has a water column of 3,000 mm, and even when it’s been wet outside, Cornelius has stayed completely dry. The footmuff is also windproof.

Fnugg has zippers on both sides, making it easy to place the child inside or open one side for ventilation. It can also be opened completely, leaving only the base, which is handy if you’re going somewhere indoors where it’s warmer.

Cornelius loves sitting in it, and he’s warm and cozy when he comes out again. At this time of year, we’ve kept the down duvet inside since Cornelius doesn’t move around much on our walks. But it’s SO easy to remove – you just unfasten it from the footmuff.

There’s also a drawstring around the hood, which keeps Cornelius snug and warm on our walks. The footmuff is definitely lovely for little ones to sleep in during the cold winter months.

At the bottom, there’s a zipper that extends the length, making it not only suitable for infants but also able to grow with the child for several years – from 94–120 cm, in fact from 0–4 years.

All tests and reviews on testfamilien.dk are assessed by the following criteria: Usefulness, durability, price, and quality. Ratings range from VERY GOOD, GOOD, AVERAGE, LESS GOOD, to POOR.

In this case, Sahra’s assessment is:

  • Usefulness: VERY GOOD – The Fnugg footmuff is highly practical since it can be used in most seasons and for several years.
  • Durability: VERY GOOD – It can be washed, it grows with the child, and can be used for many years!
  • Price: VERY GOOD – I think the price is very fair. At first, I thought it was a bit expensive, but now that I know it can be used across all seasons and until the child is 120 cm tall, it really is great value for money.
  • Quality: VERY GOOD – It works so well and is incredibly cozy. It’s almost a shame you can’t feel the down duvet through the photos. It’s so soft and snug! I love both the duvet and the wool back, which makes it extra comfortable for little ones to sit in.

Thea says:

We’ve tested the most wonderful footmuff from Easygrow. The timing was perfect, as Luna had just grown out of her old one. The smart thing about the Fnugg footmuff from Easygrow is that it can be adjusted in length, so it can be used for several years. It comes in the prettiest soft pink color.

The footmuff also contains a down duvet that can be removed, which makes it even more versatile across different seasons. We’ve been so happy to test it, and Luna has always been warm, safe, and comfortable inside.

I would, without a doubt, buy this product myself 100%.

In this case, Thea’s assessment is:

  • Usefulness: VERY GOOD – We couldn’t have managed without a footmuff during the autumn/winter season, and this one is perfect for that purpose.
  • Durability: GOOD – Luna uses it often, and it still looks great.
  • Price: GOOD – The price is a bit on the higher side, but the quality makes it worth it.
  • Quality: VERY GOOD
